    The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, confirmed that the security forces had killed the second largest person in the terrorist organization ISIS, indicating that the mission of the international coalition forces had turned into advisory training.
     
    In his speech during the International Scientific Conference of the Counter-Terrorism Service, according to a statement by his office, Al-Kazemi praised the role of the "Counter-Terrorism Service, which was at the level of ambition and responsibility and contributed significantly to the liberation battles against the" Kharijites of the era "ISIS terrorist gangs.
     
    He explained, " Terrorism has become a global challenge that concerns everyone, and Iraq has contributed greatly to facing this challenge, pointing out that Iraqis helped the whole world get rid of the specter of terrorism that was spreading rapidly and stood with Iraq by many friends, but the victory over terrorism was in the end a victory." "Iraqis should feel proud that they fought terrorism on behalf of themselves and the whole world."
     
    He added, " All the Iraqi security forces, including the army, police, crowd, peshmerga, national security apparatus, intelligence apparatus and others, participated in this achievement, but there was a prominent peculiarity of the anti-terrorist forces as their main competence is to fight terrorism, and the forces of this national apparatus played a very large and prominent role in defeating ISIS terrorist gangs are still doing tremendous work in striking terrorist cells scattered in remote areas.
     
    "We achieved major victories over the past months and ended the existence of the so-called Tigris State during the" sweeping torrential "operation carried out by the heroes of our armed forces in the Counter-Terrorism Service.

    He pointed out that " all these efforts that this government is undertaking is an extension of the anti-terrorist operations," noting that "completely defeating terrorism is done through a comprehensive vision to combat terrorism, and we need to create an appropriate national environment to completely dry up the sources of terrorism at various levels."
     
    He continued, "We are working to rebuild the security institutions in order to be able to carry out their full duties, and we also strengthen our relations and our cooperation with our regional and international friends to support security in Iraq."
     
    He noted that “thanks to the efforts of the security forces and their readiness, the mission of the international coalition forces during the strategic dialogue was transformed into training and advisory tasks, indicating the great development in building our security forces and their great capabilities.
     
    He added, "There must be an exchange of experiences and cooperation between the Counter-Terrorism Service and the rest of the security services, and we must also benefit from international support and regional cooperation in order to create a regional and international supportive environment to prevent the revitalization of terrorism again."
     
    He pointed out that " we are working to pursue networks of financing and support for terrorist organizations through international and regional cooperation to dry up sources of terrorist financing, and all this comes within the broad diplomatic efforts of this government to create interconnected networks of security and economic interests among the countries of the region."
     
    He concluded by saying, " With all these efforts, Iraq returns to its historical role in the region and the world in order to be a bridge for communication, integration and cooperation among all. I thank you and all the security forces for your sacrifices and the strongest support for you and together we will keep a new Iraq that the great Iraqi people deserve with its history, heritage, culture and values."
