    [size=45]The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, received the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and his accompanying delegation, and discussed with him the latest developments on the regional and international arenas and various current Arab issues.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement issued by the media office of the Prime Minister received by (Al-Mada) stated that the latter “emphasized the importance of the effective presence of the Arab League, and the development of its work systems to enable it to serve the Arab peoples,” stressing that “Iraq is looking forward to the convening of the next Arab summit, by supporting a greater Arab role. Contributes to efforts to calm down.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Kazemi added, "Iraq supports initiatives to end the conflict in Yemen and support Lebanon to overcome its difficult circumstances. It also supports Syria's return to the Arab League and the encouragement of internal dialogue in it." And he indicated, "The Arab League has an important role to play in promoting constructive rapprochement, overcoming differences, and consolidating calm efforts between active regional states that are linked to historical relations that go beyond the current crises." He stressed that "the Palestinian issue should remain at the top of our priorities, because it represents an issue of conscience and conscience for Arabs and for humanity, and because the Palestinian people still suffer from harsh conditions and historical injustice."[/size]

    [size=45]Saleh said during the meeting, "Iraqi efforts are focused on supporting dialogue to settle problems and reduce tensions in the region, and to adopt joint Arab cooperation in establishing security and peace in the region as an integral part of the security and stability of Iraq, enhancing economic and commercial cooperation and supporting investment and development opportunities."
