    On Monday, the Parliamentary Economic Committee called for granting special import licenses to secured traders to solve the problem of high prices and return them.
    A member of the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee, Hamid Al-Mousawi, told the official newspaper, “The committee is working to present a working paper and proposals to address the high prices of foodstuffs, especially the basic ones, with the approaching month of Ramadan. Problems of supply and demand, in addition to price control and accountability of greedy traders.
     
    Al-Mousawi called for "granting special import licenses to secured traders to solve this problem and bring prices back to normal."
