Oil reveals the details of a licensing round held with the Ministry of Electricity

{Economy: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Oil / Oil Products Distribution Company organized a round of licenses (public tender) to transfer oil derivatives from the country's warehouses and refineries to all electric power plants and oil depots.

In a statement, the Euphrates News received a copy of it, the ministry quoted a confirmation from the Undersecretary for Distribution Affairs, Chairman of the Supervising Committee, Hamed Yunus, "The ministry's keenness to secure fuel of all kinds for electric power plants, as it organized this tour as a first stage in favor of the Ministry of Electricity and there will be another round." Later for the transfer of oil derivatives for the benefit of the Ministry of Oil, it includes many transport hubs from the refineries to the oil depots in Baghdad and the provinces.
Yunus added, "The first phase of the tour was conducted with high transparency and professionalism, and in accordance with the instructions for public tenders and the participation of Iraqi national companies that have been rehabilitated, under the supervision and presence of a specialized committee from the ministry, whose membership includes the concerned general managers."
From his side, the Deputy Director General of the Oil Products Distribution Company, Hussein Talib, said: “The supervisory committee completed the first phase of the licensing round for the axes for transporting oil derivatives for the benefit of the Ministry of Electricity and in the presence of a representative. Twenty axes, and he
explained, "The tour will be resumed next Wednesday, in its second phase, to present the axes for transporting oil derivatives for the benefit of the Ministry of Oil."
