Labor plans to raise the salaries of people with disabilities and pay dues for three years

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced, on Tuesday, a study to increase those covered by the privileges of the Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs Law, while it indicated that it was preparing a plan to disburse the salaries of the new inclusion or the salaries accumulated for three years.
The head of the Authority for People with Disabilities and Special Needs, Issam Abdel-Latif, said, “The authority has worked during the current and past two years since the start of the Corona pandemic until now with its full potential in order to provide service to beneficiaries of people with disabilities and special needs, according to the morning.”
He added that “work is underway with the concerned departments to study a proposal that aims to increase the basis for the new inclusion of the privileges of the Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs Law No. 38 of 2013 after the implementation of the 2021 budget instructions upon its arrival to it.
And Abdel-Latif added, "The medical committees that specify that the applicant include the salaries of people with disabilities and special needs have completed the examination of 68,000 applicants since the start of the Corona pandemic."
He drew attention to the Authority’s “strenuous efforts to increase the financial allocations,” announcing “the existence of a prior plan for the Ministry to work with in conjunction with the implementation of the instructions for the general budget of the current year 2016 for the payment of the salaries of the current year in order to disburse the salaries of the 2016 year.
