First Deputy Speaker Hassan Al-Kaabi called on the executing company of the Nahrawan district water project and the Ministry of Construction to submit a detailed report within 48 hours to determine the possibility of completing the water project within a short time or to refer part or all of its details to the Baghdad governorate to proceed with it as soon as possible, warning of: "Failure to comply within the time limit set for completion is an explicit legal violation, for which anyone who proves his negligence will be held accountable."
Al-Kaabi stressed, during an expanded meeting to discuss the problem of the delayed water project of the Nahrawan district, and the great scarcity of drinking and raw water for the people of the region, to set a short and specific timetable for the completion of the project, the delivery of drinking and raw water to all the residents of the region, the protection of the conveyor line, the treatment of the violations that took place, and the establishment of an operations room.
