    The Chief of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Omid Sabah, renewed, on Wednesday, the region’s commitment to its financial pledges in the Public Financial Budget Law.
    Sabah said in a press conference that “the Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan Region will meet today, to discuss the general guidelines for setting the budget of the Kurdistan region for the year 2021,” considering that “setting the region’s budget is an important step because the region has not submitted a budget for seven years, and the regional government will work through its budget for the current year. Reforms and organization of its financial resources.
    He added that "the Kurdistan government presidency sent a letter to the Federal Prime Minister confirming the region’s commitment to the paragraphs related to Kurdistan in the General Budget Law."
    Sabah said, "The Kurdistan Regional Government is currently preparing to implement the budget law," noting that "a technical delegation will visit Baghdad to conduct discussions on the budget and its implementation."
