Parliamentary defense reveals where U.S. forces are in Iraq

The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee on Monday revealed the whereabouts of U.S. forces at Iraqi military bases, while noting their presence at a border crossing.
"The places of U.S. forces in Iraq officially are Harer base in Erbil province, Ain al-Assad Air Force in Anbar province, in addition to their presence at the Greshan border port with Kuwait," committee member Ali al-Ghanimi told Shafq News, noting that "the port is used for the purpose of financing and entering the requirements of the U.S. logistics and service forces."
"U.S. forces are also in the Washington Embassy building in Baghdad," he said, noting that "Americans are also present elsewhere unknown."
"The scheduling of the withdrawal of US troops from Iraqi territory is unknown and no date has been set for the withdrawal of foreign troops and their departure from the country," al-Ghanimi said.
