    BAGHDAD / NINA / A familiar source said that the voting process to choose the President of the House of Representatives has ended in the participation of / 272 / MPs.

    The source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "The process of vote counting began immediately after the end of the voting process."

    The Age President of the parliament, Mehdi al-Hafez had put Salim al-Joboury and Shoroq al-Abaiaji for the presidency of the Council of Representatives.

    I'll view this as a timer ticking down the Constitutional seconds ending with a new gov't. in no more than 45 days...

    BAGHDAD / obelisk: MP for the coalition of citizen Mohammed al-Tai, on Monday, the existence of quasi-compatibility and acceptability to elect a candidate of a coalition of national forces MP Salim al for the presidency of the parliament in the next session of the House of Representatives.
    The MP said in an interview with al-Tai "obelisk", "The coalition forces of the National MP Salim al enjoys Bmqpolh of all the political blocs and there will be objections to it at a meeting tomorrow."
    He predicted al-Tai "resolve the presidency of the parliament, MPs in Tuesday's session if it wanted the political blocs," warning, "responded done by the Iraqi street, if they are not resolved these positions in the next session of the House of Representatives."
    The Council of Representatives of Iraq its second, on Sunday, in the presence of 233 deputies, saw the meeting to provide an alliance of national forces MP Salim al-candidate reported for the position of Speaker of Parliament, but the president of Age announced the existence of problems within the blocs on the names of candidates for the posts of speaker and his deputies.
    It is scheduled to hold Iraqi Council of Representatives its third day on Tuesday, to vote on the names of candidates for the post of parliament speaker and his two deputies, but all the blocks including the Kurdistan Alliance failed to reach the final names for nomination.

    BAGHDAD / Nina /-- MP , Salim al-Jubori win candidate for Itihad al-Qowa al-Iraqiya headed by former Speaker Osama Nujaifi win the new post of Parliament the post of new Speaker after announcing the results of voting in the house of representatives after noon today.
     
    Salim al-elected as the new chairman of the House of Representatives after getting 194 votes.

    Now since we have President of Parliament (Speaker) we move onto the President of the Republic within 15 days or by 31 July 2014. (According to Constitution)

    Article 67:
    First: The Council of Representatives shall elect, from among the nominees, the President of the Republic by a two-thirds majority of its members.
    Second: If any of the candidates does not receive the required majority vote then the two candidates who received the high
    est number of votes shall compete and the one who receives the highest number of votes in the second election shall be declared as President.

    BAGHDAD / NINA / MP Ahmed al-Chalabi announced his withdrawal from the nomination for the post of first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
     
    The head of the Age of the House of Representatives Mehdi al-Hafez announced the re-vote on the candidates for the First Deputy Speaker of the House, Haider al-Abadi and Ahmed Chalabi.
     
    It is said that Hafiz announced the adjournment of the session half an hour to give the National Alliance blocs a chance to choose one candidate for the post of first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
     
    Haider al-Abadi has got 149 votes out of a total number of 274 voters, while his rival, Ahmed Chalabi, got 107 voices, and Fares Jeju got 6 votes, and the number of invalid ballots 12. / End.

    So it looks like Jobouri is Speaker of Parliament and one of the deputies is Haider Al -Abadi.
    Not sure who second deputy is yet.
