, a member of Parliament, Muthanna Amin, confirmed, on Friday, that Iraq is a bridge for rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Amin said, in a televised statement, that "the conflicts between the countries of the region were reflected on their peoples," noting that "Iraq takes the role of bringing points of view between the two countries together, which will reflect positively on the country in particular, and on the region and the region in general."
He added that "Iraq constitutes a bridge between the two countries due to its geographical and political position and based on the national interest," stressing that "raising the strife between the two neighbors of Iraq is an important step for him."
He pointed out that "Tehran and Riyadh are ready to end the rivalry, and this opportunity must be seized to impose security in the region." Ended 29 / A43
