    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

The Ministry of Oil revealed, for the first time, the size of what Iraq spends from crude oil and black oil to fill the Iranian gas shortage for producing electricity, as Iraq burns a quarter of a million barrels of crude oil only for the production of electricity, instead of exporting it and benefiting from it, and if the price of a barrel is calculated at an average of $ 60, then Iraq Only 15 million dollars are burned daily for a number of electrical stations to compensate for the Iranian gas shortage.

Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar revealed Iraq's efforts to produce and invest in gas associated with operating the electrical stations, which is considered less expensive and more profitable than burning liquid fuel to operate the electrical stations.
According to Abdul Jabbar, Iraq invests 1,500 mqmqs per day, out of 2,700 mqmqs that they produce daily and about 1,200 of them are burned, while the Minister of Oil shows that Iraq is going towards an investment capacity of 4,000 mqmqs per day before the year 2025.
According to Abdul Jabbar's speech, the increase achieved by 4,000 muggers per day means that Iraq is planning to raise its oil production to more than 5 million barrels per day, which will allow the production of 4,000 mugglers per day.

Abdul Jabbar indicates that "the ministry is working on implementing three promising gas investment projects in the governorates of Basra, Maysan and Dhi Qar."
He pointed to "the ministry’s success in referring the Al-Mansuriyah gas contract in Diyala governorate to one of the international Chinese companies to invest free gas, with an amount of up to (300) Moqmq per day."
Ismail confirmed, “Iraq will continue investing solar energy in supplying electric power stations through the implementation of contracts with international companies to generate (10,000) thousand megawatts before 2025, explaining that“ a contract for generating a capacity of (750) megawatts has been transferred to the national system, and the solar energy production process is prepared. It is the least expensive compared to other energies. "

The Minister of Oil revealed that the electric power generation system consumes 250 thousand barrels of black and crude oil per day, and exceptional efforts are being made to accelerate the conversion of these stations to using domestic or imported gas fuel, with the aim of increasing production efficiency, increasing the generating capacity of electric power stations, and reducing Environmental impacts, as well as investing in exporting crude and black oil instead of burning it in generating electric power, in order to achieve financial returns that support the budget and strengthen the national economy.
Regarding the visit of the Syrian delegation to Iraq, the statement quoted the Minister of Oil as saying that the possibility of benefiting from the Egyptian surplus gas production was discussed to support the electric power production system during the current stage across the Syrian territories, with the aim of achieving flexibility in the provision of gas fuel from many sources to cover part of the need for power generation stations And until the year 2025 is to achieve self-sufficiency.

While Abdul Jabbar refers to burning a quarter of a million barrels per day, the Ministry of Oil had confirmed the insufficiency of what the Ministry of Oil provided to fill the Iranian gas vacuum, indicating that the power stations in Iraq needed one million barrels of oil per day, which is a great loss in oil production, which is part of OPEC’s share. This means that, in order for Iraq to provide sufficient fuel for its electrical stations without the need for Iranian gas, its oil imports will decline by one million barrels per day, or about $ 60 million a day or about two billion dollars a month.
