    [size=45]Erbil - The Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan Region held its weekly meeting today, Wednesday, May 5, 2021, headed by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani.[/size]
    [size=45]In the first paragraph of the meeting, the head of the Kurdistan Regional Integrity Commission presented a draft of the national strategy for combating corruption in the Kurdistan Region. The Council of Ministers stressed the need to combat corruption and eliminate it and prevent the waste of public wealth within the framework of the agenda of the ninth ministerial formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government.[/size]
    [size=45]After that, the Minister of Planning, Dara Rashid, presented a report on the revenues and expenditures of the regional government and its reorganization within the region's budget bill for the year 2021, and the Council of Ministers discussed the latest preparations on the draft law, and then it was decided that the project would move to the stage of voting on it in the upcoming meetings of the Council of Ministers in preparation for referring it to Kurdistan Parliament.[/size]
    [size=45]In the third paragraph of the meeting, the Council of Ministers approved a draft law (Private Security Companies in the Kurdistan Region).[/size]
    [size=45]At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of the Territory for Component Affairs, Aiden Maarouf, reviewed the general situation of the components as well as the activities of the Ministry of the Territory for Component Affairs.[/size]
