    {Economical: Al Furat News} Today, Friday, the Minister of Trade, Alaa Al-Jubouri, conducted an inspection tour of western Baghdad regions, which included Silo Khan Bani Saad and the governmental Al-Miqdad Mill, instructing the formation of a high-level ministerial committee to audit and rehabilitate the work of the mills.

    A statement by the ministry, the Al Furat News Agency received a copy of it today, stated that “to follow up the marketing season and flour distribution mechanisms, the Minister of Trade, Dr. Alaa Al-Jubouri, visited Silo Khan Bani Saad and the governmental Al-Miqdad mill as part of the daily follow-up of the marketing campaign for the wheat harvest and the mechanisms of flour production. A tour of the mechanisms for receiving the 2021 wheat crop, as well as a follow-up to the flour production mechanisms at the governmental Al-Miqdad mill.
    During the visit, the minister pointed out "the importance of the success of the marketing season for the wheat harvest for the current year, as well as the importance of the role of laboratory testing mechanisms in analyzing the quality of wheat marketed by farmers, as well as providing an appropriate environment for farmers to facilitate the delivery of their harvest and work transparently to receive the wheat."
     
    Al-Jubouri stressed, "the necessity of benefiting from human resources in the success of the mill operation, as well as emphasizing the quality of the flour that is Muslim to citizens by making use of local wheat marketed by farmers, which is of good quality, which confirmed success in the marketing season of last year."
    He added that his ministry "is working to make government mills exemplary mills in front of the private mills, in terms of location, equipment and infrastructure, and this requires a great effort from the General Company for Grain Processing for the purpose of checking the work of the mills."
    The minister instructed, "the formation of a high-level ministerial committee to audit and rehabilitate the work of the mills, and to find new mechanisms for their work in order to improve the quality of production and rehabilitate the mills at a level that allows them to produce good flour."
