A brief statement to the judicial media, of which the Euphrates News Agency received a copy, said that the two sides "discussed with him the ideas put forward regarding the amendment of the constitution and the ongoing preparations for the upcoming elections."
Early parliamentary elections are scheduled to take place on October 10.
