On Friday, a member of the Iraqi Human Rights Commission, Fadhel Al-Gharawi, said that there is an urgent need for the government to launch a national campaign to urge citizens to get vaccinated.
Al-Gharawi added in a statement that "People" received, a copy of it, (May 14, 2021), that "the mobile health teams, opening centers in the morning and evening, and enhancing the citizen's confidence to expedite the taking of the vaccine is the only solution to overcome the Corona pandemic."
Al-Gharawi called on the Prime Minister to "abolish all aspects of the comprehensive or partial ban, most of which were security and not healthy, and negatively affected the daily life of citizens, and to focus on the government and institutions assuming their responsibility for the success of the requirements of the national plan to distribute the vaccine during the next three months."
