{Locality: Al Furat News} The Chairman of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Haitham Al-Jubouri, received today, Sunday, the Chair of the Defense Committee in the French Parliament, Francoise Dumas, and her accompanying delegation.
A statement by the Parliamentary Media Department stated, "The meeting that took place at the headquarters of the Finance Committee discussed a number of issues of common interest, as well as developing relations between the two sides and discussing ways to support investment and removing obstacles facing major French companies that wish to work in Iraq and establish important projects such as Mosul Airport and the Metro. Baghdad".
Al-Jubouri stressed, "Supporting the Finance Committee of the Ministry of Defense by increasing its budget allocations to develop the Iraqi army’s cyber security, as well as discussing the possibility of cooperation with the Iraqi Military Industries Authority and seeking the help of sober French companies in this aspect."
For her part, Francoise Dumas welcomed the joint cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two sides and the continuation of the war against the terrorist organization ISIS.
