{Economic: Al Furat News} The Minister of Finance, Ali Abdul Amir Allawi, chaired, on Monday, a meeting at the Ministry's headquarters, the eighth session of the committee concerned with preparing the federal budget strategy for the medium term 2022-2024, in the presence of the advisors of the Prime Minister's office, the advisor to the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, the deputy and advisor of the ministry and a number of general directors To the ministry.

 The Information Office of the Ministry of Finance stated, in a statement that Al Furat News received a copy of, that "the meeting included the presentation of a detailed budget report for the security and defense sectors. The strategy of the Ministry of Defense was presented by the Director General of the Budget and Programs Directorate and touched upon all the financial needs and allocations for the upcoming uncles. It contributes to supporting the military establishment that meets all its needs. "
He added, "The Director General of Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Interior presented the ministry’s strategy and future steps for the sections on financial allocations, and the reasons for providing privatization compared to previous years, in addition to developing the ministry’s infrastructure."
The Minister of Finance said that "one of the priorities for preparing budgets is that the Ministry of Finance is interested in allocating security ministries, which are the basis for security stability in the country and which contribute to supporting the country's economy and attracting companies to support investment in Iraq, which maximizes non-oil revenues." 
The minister added, "We support all security agencies by working to provide all financial allocations for the purpose of facing the security challenges that Iraq faces."
