    On Thursday, the Finance Committee discussed with the French embassy the mechanism for implementing the French loan.

    The Media Department of the House of Representatives said in a statement that "People" received a copy of it, (May 27, 2021), that "the Chairman of the Finance Committee, MP Haitham Al-Jubouri, today received the French Ambassador in Baghdad, Bruno Hubert, the Deputy Minister of Planning, Director General of Public Debt in the Ministry of Finance, and representatives of a number of French companies, to discuss the application of the French loan in the budget. "  
    According to the statement, "the meeting held at the headquarters of the Finance Committee discussed the requirements for implementing the French loan, which includes a number of important projects such as the Baghdad metro and Mosul airport, as well as overcoming all obstacles that may face the implementation of the loan."
