    The Social Protection Authority of the Ministry of Labor indicated, on Saturday, that the reallocation of social protection agreed upon before the budget was approved has not yet been resolved.

    Hoda Sajjad Mahmoud, head of the Social Protection Authority, said in a statement that "People" received a copy, (May 29, 2021), that "regarding the opening of the new inclusion, the matter has not been resolved until now and discussions are continuing with the Ministry of Finance and the Parliamentary Labor and Finance Committees to re-allocate social protection allocations."     She added, "With regard to our talk about cleaning the database of the Social Protection Authority and granting the aid to those who are entitled to it, this will be done in accordance with the law in force, and no salary will be suspended unless it is actually unworthy or contrary to the law, and the authority's management is fully aware of the economic conditions in Iraq that cannot be affected. The wages of the poor in any way. "  
    She continued, "We always receive complaints and information about the fact that many of the beneficiaries of social protection are the owners of large production factories or cars or have an income-generating profession, and when such information reaches the authority, we must take the necessary legal measures, because this represents a violation of the rights of the poor and we will not allow it."
