Parliament session not starting
On Thursday, a member of the House of Representatives announced that the parliament session will not start until this moment.
The House of Representatives was scheduled to hold a session at one in the evening to discuss a number of bills.
Representative Arzo Mahmoud, a member of Parliament from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc , said in an exclusive statement to PUKmedia , that the Parliament has not started holding its session until this moment.
She added, that the failure to hold the session came due to the presence of meetings between the parliamentary blocs.
The representative of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Dylan Ghafoor, had made it clear during a previous statement to PUKmedia : that Tuesday’s session was postponed to today Thursday due to the lack of a quorum, indicating that the session will witness a vote on the draft law ratifying the air transport agreement between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, and the vote On the proposed law to protect the human rights employee, and vote on the proposed law on sports clubs.
