The Presidency of the Republic clarified, on Saturday, its procedures to support the electoral process during the next stage.
The Presidential Adviser for Elections, Karim Al-Tamimi, said, "The President of the Republic attaches great importance to the election file, and was one of the initiators to amend the legal system that governs the electoral process, whether by amending the electoral law or the Commission, and since the first day of his assumption of office, in addition to communicating with the Commission through seminars and meetings. and meetings to solve all the problems facing
its work.
He added that "everyone, including the Presidency of the Republic, is looking for a broad participation during the elections that will be held on the tenth of next October, as it comes after popular protests and therefore we believe that its technical success is not enough, but rather it needs wide participation, which is a very important thing because the legitimacy of the next government comes." through this post.
Al-Tamimi indicated that "the Presidency of the Republic is in the process of implementing several steps, most notably the dialogue seminars with local election monitoring networks because of their importance in the success of the elections, in addition to holding the electoral awareness media forum as the independent partner to support their conduct, as well as holding a general conference to promote women's participation in the upcoming elections, whether by candidacy or participation in elections.
