The Federal Financial Budget Preparation Committee discussed, today, Monday, the strategy for the education sector for the years 2022-2024.
The Media Office of the Ministry of Finance stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi, chaired the meeting of the session. The tenth session of the Committee for the Preparation of the Federal General Budget Strategy for the medium term 2022-2024, in the presence of the Prime Minister’s advisors, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry’s advisor, and the general managers of the Ministry and related ministries.
He added, "The committee discussed the strategic vision for the education sector for the medium term for the years (2022-2024) by the Ministry of Education."
The Minister of Finance explained, according to the statement, that “attention to the education sectors of all kinds and levels, and the provision of a supportive and stimulating environment for upgrading the educational and educational level will be among the priorities of the strategy of the next budgets,” stressing the need to “attention to the education sectors and discuss the challenges and difficulties facing the implementation of projects in the two sectors.” And ways to address them within the available financial resources, find solutions, and address the delay in vital projects in the educational sector.”
He pointed out that "it will proceed to link long-term goals with future budgets to provide tools and procedures for preparation for financial departments and to prioritize activities to achieve the strategic objectives of the projects in proportion to the country's financial revenues."
