The Ministry of Finance denied the issuance of a statement by Minister Ali Allawi regarding the true value of the Iraqi dinar.
The ministry said in a statement that what was reported by some media outlets regarding a statement attributed to the Minister of Finance that the real value of every hundred dollars is three hundred Iraqi dinars is unfounded, stressing that the transmission of such statements and irresponsible news aims to destabilize the economic situation. And confusing public opinion, while the ministry called for the adoption of news and information through its media office and its pages on social networking sites.
