    {Economic: Al-Furat News} The Minister of Oil inaugurated the units for improving the ismeric gasoline and hydrogen production at the Dora refinery in Baghdad

    And the ministry said in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it today, “The Minister of Oil attended the opening ceremony of the two units of gasoline improvement “Al-Azra” with a capacity of ten thousand barrels per day, hydrogen production with a capacity of four thousand barrels per day, and a project to complete a number of large tanks for light derivatives
    The Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, stressed the "importance of the liquidation sector, which is one of the most important pillars of the national economy through the production and provision of fuel of all kinds to citizens and other service sectors."
    Ismail pointed out, "The importance of these projects in providing great financial returns in support of the economy, by increasing the national production of fuels, which directly contribute to covering part of the local need and reducing the proportion of foreign imports, in addition to the distinction of the new units as being identical to global standards in health, safety and environmental friendliness
    And he indicated, "These projects will add the production of one million liters of gasoline per day to the refinery's production, to rise to four million liters per day," noting that "the ministry is implementing an ambitious program aimed at reducing the proportion of fuel imports by 50% before the end of the year." This year, until its suspension in 2023, after the opening of a number of important projects in this vital sector
    He praised, "the efforts of workers in the liquidation sector in our oil companies and those supporting them in implementing and installing a number of production units despite the economic, financial and health challenges."
    For his part, the Undersecretary for Liquidation Affairs, Hamed Younis, said that "these projects come within the ministry's plans to increase production of fuel and improve its quality, and that the coming period will witness the addition of new quantities to the national production from other refineries."
    In turn, the Director General of Al Wasat Refineries Company, Ayed Omran, praised "the support and follow-up of officials in the ministry, and work to overcome all obstacles that were impeding the completion of projects."
    And the Minister of Oil instructed, "to honor those in charge, workers and contributors to the completion of these projects, in appreciation of their distinguished efforts in the service of the public interest and in support of the national economy."
