    (newsletter).Search Cabinet Secretary Ali Mohsen Ismail on Monday with a
    delegation from the US Treasury Department, headed by Deputy Minister

    money-laundering.

    The Secretary-General of the Council of
    Ministers, said in a statement it had received (News Agency), the reform
    steps taken by Iraq on the report of the Working Group of the Middle
    East and North Africa, and on the report of the detailed evaluation of
    the Republic of Iraq on combating money-laundering and amend the
    anti-money laundering Act and activating the role of the Office in
    charge of the control of the Central Bank and other procedures.

    It
    added: the u.s. Treasury Deputy Secretary expressed his country's
    readiness to support Iraq's efforts to strengthen the financial and
    banking system and transferring international experiences on control
    measures and control the movement of funds to combat the phenomenon of
    money laundering linked to corruption or organized crime or
