Al-Najjar said, in the joint weekly press conference with the spokesman of the Council of Ministers, Hassan Nazim, that "the construction of the city of Rafael will be on an area of 106 thousand acres."
Al-Najjar promised the city of Rafael "the first project of its kind in Iraq and includes residential, economic and service aspects."
She explained, "The first phase of the Rafael project will include housing, educational, medical and service projects, and will provide 75,000 housing units."
Al-Najjar concluded, "The project has a significant impact on providing job opportunities, and it is expected that it will provide 100,000 jobs."
