{Economist: Al-Furat News} Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous said that all economic options with Iraq are open.”
A statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals stated that {Al-Furat News} received a copy of it, “The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz, met with Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous. In the presence of the Syrian Minister of Industry and the Iraqi delegation accompanying the discussion on issues and files that contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and achieving cooperation and industrial integration between Iraq and Syria.”
During the meeting, Minister Al-Khabbaz expressed his “thanks for the hospitality and the Syrian side’s desire to find joint ventures that serve the interests of both countries,” noting that The next stage requires building bridges of cooperation and love between Iraq and Syria in line with its history and heritage and the will of its governments and peoples in all fields, the most important of which is the industrial field, which is considered a main engine of the economy along with the sectors of trade, transport and others,
Pointing to the importance of going towards concluding a joint industrial cooperation and integration agreement between the two countries and the formation of an industrial economic force in the region with the participation of neighboring countries in order to advance the industry of these countries and for the benefit and benefit them, stressing the quest for the success of the joint industrial process for Iraq and Syria, pointing at the same time to the efforts of the President The Iraqi Council of Ministers to find common ground and achieve balance in the region after it succeeded in making Iraq a key player in finding real balances and a consensual formula in the region and overcoming difficulties, wishing Syria and its people success and progress. 
For his part, the Syrian Prime Minister thanked the Iraqi government and the Iraqi people for their balanced stances and relations, pointing to the importance of coordination and taking steps drawn on the basis of the integration of the economy while continuing the visits and bilateral meetings to develop work and support the future of the two countries, pointing out that all options are open for participation, both in the public and private sectors. Facilitating import and export, wishing Iraq and its people goodness and progress. 
The two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest, including opportunities for industrial cooperation and commercial exchange, and issues related to the transportation of goods and industrial materials and other matters that achieve the interests of the two countries and support the future of their peoples.
