Today, Tuesday, the Finance Committee announced an unpleasant surprise for the owners of Resolution 315.
Committee member Jamal Cougar said in an exclusive statement to the "National News Center", that "Decision 315 on contracts was not included in the 2021 budget."
He added that "it is not within the powers of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives to include them in the budget," explaining, "We hope that the decision will be voted on in the 2022 budget."
Regarding the 2022 budget, the deputy confirmed that “the government will resort to the financial management law, which stipulates that the government send governorate budgets on 15/8 to the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, which is supposed to be discussed on 10/15.”
And he indicated that "if the elections are held in October as scheduled, it will delay the discussion of approving the 2022 budget until the second or third month of next year."
