Oil prices returned, on Tuesday, to rise, as expectations of further declines in US crude inventories exceeded fears that the spread of COVID-19 variables may impede the global economic recovery.
Brent crude for the month of September rose 20 cents, or 0.25 percent, to reach $75.36 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude for the month of August also rose at $74.35 a barrel, up 24 cents, or 0.32 percent.
Some specialists expected a further decline in US crude stocks, after steadily declines for several weeks, which reached their lowest level since February 2020 in the week ending on 2 July. Ended 29/A 4
