Shafaq News / Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jobouri announced on Monday, that about 100 candidates will submit their names to the council to compete for the position of the presidency of the Republic of the country, revealing that the names of those candidates will be announced later today

Jubouri said in a press conference held in the parliament , attended by "Shafaq News", that "The number of applicants for the position of the presidency has reached more than 100 candidates," noting that "the Presidency and the relevant committees will submit all applications in the session which will be held tomorrow for the mentioned position
. "
He added that the names of candidates will be announced today, expressing his belief that all of these figures that submitted for the nomination are "qualified and has citizenship feeling to serve this country."
