The trap that is called an independent politician

We did not witness a successful experience of independent politicians in Iraq (Facebook)
The beginning of the idea was that we had an intellectual legacy that handled things in the opposite way, black-white. At the time of the Baath, a large part of society wanted the Jaafari leader, and after the Jaafari leader came and made the country a wreck, the same section became saying: “Saddam’s time is better,” and they wished for his return, even if Saddam Hussein returned; We would have found them repeating the same saying: "We want the leader of Jafari!"

The people’s attitude towards the parties is the result of the ugly experience and it was not from a vacuum, but the treatment is that the alternative is the independent one; It was out of the blue
Independent politician is the solution, absolutely not! Iraqi society was not familiar with the issue of partisan pluralism. The successive authorities imposed on it one party and one leader. After 2003, the advent of the parties, and their chaotic plurality, and after they failed terribly; As usual, the reverse treatments made people demand an independent politician, without thinking about how he would succeed while he was independent. Who supports it? Who will stop him if he makes a mistake? How does he face partisan forces? What proves the type of his intellectual orientation? All this was forgotten, because they thought that as long as the independent is the opposite of the partisan; It is the perfect solution. The problem is that the people’s attitude towards the parties is a result of the ugly experience, and it was not from a vacuum, but the treatment is that the alternative is the independent one; It was out of the blue. Is the problem with the party system or Bchchus? Certainly, personally, the party system leads the greatest countries in the world (America, Germany, Britain, etc.). The same provision applies to the presidential or parliamentary system. There is also another reason for failure; It is the lack of commitment to implement these regulations as they are. The failure of the personnel of the ministry or hospital; It does not mean the abolition of the ministry or the hospital.
    Experiment
The experience of the independent politician in Iraq was a failed experiment par excellence, and contributed to the failure of the political alternative to emerge. It also has no features globally. It is an idea without taste, color, or smell. Rather, the weakest presidents who ruled Iraq are; They were independent, subject to blackmail, collusion, and submission, because they are weak, they have no party or parliamentary bloc to support them. Hence, the corrupt Islamic parties found what they wanted with this idea, so they came with independent politicians and installed them as prime ministers and ministers - as happened in Tunisia, and in this case they hit two birds with a stone. Contribute seriously to their success, because they are not forced. Also, when she found the street leaning towards the independent; She coordinated with candidates to support them, as they appear to be independents, and in reality are affiliated with partisan parties.

Someone asks: What is the significance of running as an independent, after new civil parties have become available, and their reputation is good, and it is possible to run with them? Unless the candidate wants to earn a living, and become a transaction tracker! There may be another reason. On the other hand, there was a confusion between the politician on the one hand, and the judge and the military on the other hand, as these two must be independent, but the politician is different from them, and there is no necessity for his independence.
Powers do not allow the freelancer to succeed
At the parliamentary level, we have not witnessed a successful experience of independent politicians, but it cannot be successful. To tell you how:

    • An independent politician cannot propose any law, the proposal requires ten members of the House of Representatives (see Article 60-Second, in the Constitution).

    • He cannot impeach or dismiss the President of the Republic, because that requires an absolute majority (see Article 61, VI, A-B, in the Constitution).

    • He cannot discuss a general topic, to clarify the policy and performance of the Council of Ministers, or one of the ministries, because that requires the approval of at least twenty-five members (see Article 61-VII, b, in the Constitution).

    • He cannot question the Prime Minister, because that requires twenty-five members (cf. Article 61, VII, c, in the Constitution).

    • He cannot propose (merely a motion) of no-confidence against a Minister, except by a request signed by fifty members, and to approve the no-confidence; You need an absolute majority (see Article 61 VIII A in the Constitution)

    • He cannot submit a request to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister, except with the approval of one-fifth (1/5) of its members, and in order to withdraw confidence, an absolute majority is required (see Article 61, VIII, b, 2-3, in the constitution). The same applies to the questioning or dismissal of officials of independent bodies, the chief of staff of the army, intelligence, or division commanders, especially the formation of the executive authority.

another area; There are historical figures, who have a high symbolic status, and many Iraqis like these figures who were affiliated with parties, for example [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (African National Congress), [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (Indian National Congress), [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (Republican-National Union Party ), [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (Communist party).
The idea of the independent; An anarchist idea, which is the opposite of organization, the concept of a politician belonging to a party; The concept means regulation, and the independent means non-organization. Since the inception of man; We find that its nature tends to organize, and as a result of that, the family, tribe, religion, empire, and state system arose. All of these systems stem from one root called organization, and accordingly, and from all of the above, in order to properly address the reality, and based on the experiences of nations advanced; We must support and support the honest and successful politician who belongs to an honest and respected party, and support such a party, and reject the failed, corrupt, or independent partisan politician, and reject the failed and corrupt party.
