    [size=45]The High Elections Commission confirmed, on Monday, that most of the preparations for holding the parliamentary elections have been completed on schedule. Commission spokeswoman Jumana Ghaly said in an interview with Al-Mada that "the commission has completed most of its preparations for holding the parliamentary elections on the scheduled date next October."[/size]
    [size=45]Ghali added, "The commission is now in the process of printing the candidates' papers for the elections, and it is committed to holding the polls on time."[/size]
    [size=45]Ghali pointed out that "there are more than 3,000 candidates, none of whom has submitted a request to withdraw from the upcoming elections."[/size]
