    {Economic: Al Furat News} The Finance Committee, headed by Haitham Al-Jubouri, the Chairman of the Committee, and the presence of its members and the Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshes, Salam Al-Shammari, hosted today, Tuesday, the Deputy Minister of Finance, the Director General of the Accounting Department and the Director General of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Finance.

    According to the committee’s statement, {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Finance Committee, discussed the follow-up to the implementation of the budget law for the year 2021 on all ministries and bodies according to the allocations allocated to them, and discussed the file of paying farmers’ dues.
     The committee stressed the need to expedite the payment of the dues of this important segment and make it a top priority to ensure the sustainability of agriculture and achieve economic revenues for the state treasury, stressing that it will follow up with the Central Bank to finance these dues to pay them as soon as possible.
    It also discussed financial allocations, the investment and operational budget, and how the Ministry of Finance deals in this regard, as well as discussing the revenues generated and how to direct them in light of the financial crisis, facing the Corona pandemic, and providing an allocation for vaccines.
     The committee emphasized
    The Parliamentary Finance addressed the issue of appointments in 2021 in violation of the budget law, directing “a letter to the Public Prosecution and the Integrity Commission to form an investigative committee in this regard.”
    At the end of the meeting, the committee discussed ways to solve all the problems that prevent the payment of these financial dues for more than 15 years, stressing that "it will follow up on this issue until the dues are paid to their families."
