A ministry statement said, "The Minister of Planning, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, chaired a meeting of the Diwaniyah Order Committee 55 for the completion of the job number project for all Iraqi state employees."
The star praised "the committee's work during the past months, and the important results it reached, despite the difficulties it faced in its work."
He pointed out that "the job number project represents great importance for development in Iraq, because it will give the government a clear picture of the details of the job body, and the related financial policy."
He added, "The practical experience that was conducted on the departments of the Ministry of Education in the capital, Baghdad, has proven the importance of the electronic platform, which includes the data bank for state employees," noting that "the payment of salaries will be linked to this platform after all its data is completed."
He directed "to provide the best conditions for the work of the committee in order to complete its tasks, with high quality and accuracy," noting that "the project will be linked to the unified national card project, to ensure the accuracy of data, and to obtain biometric data for employees."
He stressed "the necessity of the success of the job number project, in order to establish a sound financial policy, and to work on reconsidering many of the mechanisms that govern the job in Iraq, including reviewing the salaries law and the appointment policy."
The meeting was attended by the head of the Central Statistical Organization, Diaa Awad, and representatives from the Prime Minister's Office, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministries of Interior and Finance, Communications and Industry, the Office of Financial Supervision and the Federal Service Council.
