    {Economic: Al Furat News} The head of the Investment Authority, Suha Al-Najjar, warned of the increasing population density in the capital, Baghdad.

    Al-Najjar said in a press statement: "Baghdad will explode from the population in residential areas, traffic and people."
    She added, "The heritage monuments in Baghdad are being lost little by little due to the housing crisis and overcrowding with the increase in pollution," noting that the capital "unfortunately lacks sufficient commercial facilities and recreational places."
    Al-Najjar confirmed that "the Rafail project is very strong, and the housing and population density crisis prompted us to think about building the city, which is commensurate with all levels of income."
