A parliamentary source confirmed, on Friday, that the remainder of the parliament's life will not witness any summons or questioning of government officials at all.
The source said in an interview with "Mawazine News", that "the remaining period of the life of the current legislative session of Parliament will not witness interrogations or dismissals of any official in Mustafa Al-Kazemi's government," noting that "the reason behind this is due to the short period of the remainder of the parliament's life, In addition, most political blocs are seeking to stay away from the file of bickering and interrogations, in preparation for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
And the source indicated that “despite the fact that there are many question marks about the performance of some ministers and officials in Al-Kazemi’s government, including the ministers of industry, education, health and others, there were previous understandings between Al-Kazemi and some heads of blocs that led to the prevention of any questioning or dismissal of any government official.” Ended 29/A 4
