The price of Basra Light crude fell, with the price of other crudes declining, while the heavy crude rose slightly, during the closing yesterday, Friday.
The price of Basra Light crude, supplied to Asia, recorded $72.43 a barrel, a decrease of 4 cents, with a change rate of 0.06%, while Basra Heavy crude rose to $66.26 a barrel, by 60 cents, a change of 0.90 percent.
Despite the drop in the price of Basra Light crude, it recorded the highest prices within OPEC, as the price of Saudi light oil reached $71.88 a barrel, while the price of Iran Heavy Blend reached $66.78, the UAE Murban blend reached $71.02 a barrel, and Algeria’s Sahran blend scored $70.41 a barrel.
