Today, Wednesday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the proposal to amend the Unified Retirement Law did not reach it, while indicating the possibility of its inclusion in the 2022 budget
. Member of the Committee, Representative Muhammad Al-Shabki, said that “the amendment of the Unified Retirement Law has not yet reached the Finance Committee,” noting that "The proposed law must be submitted by the Legal Committee or the Council of Ministers in order to be discussed within the Parliamentary Finance Committee."
He added, "If an amendment is made to the law, it can be included in the 2022 budget because there are financial consequences."
The Director General of the Retirement Authority, Iyad Mahmoud Hadi, confirmed on December 6, 2020, that there is an amendment to the Unified Retirement Law that will see the light in the coming days because it contains some lapses. Ended 29/A87
