[size=52]Parliamentary Finance comments on the postponement of the Court of Appeals for the 2021 budget appeals in Iraq[/size]
[size=45]Today, Tuesday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee commented on the decision of the Federal Court to postpone the decision on the appeals of the general budget for the year 2021 until the beginning of next September.[/size]
[size=45]Committee member Faisal Hussein said in a statement, "The Federal Court's decision to postpone the decision on the appeals will not completely disrupt the work on the budget items, as only the paragraphs that the government objected to, until the case is decided by the Federal Court."[/size]
[size=45]He added, "The government omitted some of the objections it submitted to the Federal Court, and minor matters remained that were not of great importance."[/size]
[size=45]Regarding the approval of the 2022 budget during the current parliamentary session, Hussein stressed that “it is not possible to approve the 2022 budget in this session except in one case, which is to postpone the elections, as there will be sufficient time for its approval.”[/size]
