Mubasher: Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi expressed Iraq's ambition for cooperation and support from all friends and all neighbors by placing Iraq's cities on the map of modernization, investment, sustainable development and consolidating the concept of good governance.
Al-Kazemi indicated - in his speech at the opening session of the Cooperation and Partnership Conference held in Baghdad - that the door has been opened to investment companies with Iraq's neighbors and friends all over the world, and there is a great desire to support this trend.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi stressed that the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership embodies Iraq's vision of the need to establish the best relations with the countries of the world, based on cooperation, integration, non-interference in internal affairs, and the predominance of the language of dialogue and partnerships of mutual respect.
He explained that the conference is being held in a sensitive and historical circumstance that represents a new impetus for Iraq's endeavors to consolidate its external relationship on the basis of cooperation, solidarity, mutual understanding, brotherly relations and common interests.
He added that Iraq faced - during the previous stage - great challenges at various levels, but it overcame them with the will of the people and their determination to work and live for the future and with the help of all its brothers and neighbors.
Al-Kazemi welcomed - at the beginning of his speech - the participants in the conference, which the Iraqi people view as "a message of support and solidarity from its brothers, neighbors and partners."
In his opening speech at the "Cooperation and Partnership" conference in Baghdad, with the participation of President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi stressed the need for Iraq to restore its leading role in the region by drawing inspiration from the principles of security, peace, cooperation and the desire to enhance the participants, stressing the historical role of Iraq as one of the pillars of stability in the region. .
Al-Kazemi also stressed Iraq's refusal to use its lands as an arena for regional and international conflicts, and refused to be a springboard for attacking its neighbors from any side.
He expressed his hope that during the conference major economic partnerships would be achieved for the reconstruction and building of Iraq, so that Iraq would be a strong contributor to the development of the region through economic integration based on historical, geographical and cultural commonalities.
He stressed that Iraq defeated the terrorist organization Daesh with the help and solidarity of brothers, neighbors and the international community, expressing his thanks to all who contributed to this victory, pointing out that terrorism and extremism represent - in all its forms - a common danger to everyone, a warning that terrorism always tries to find a place for it, but we We constantly eliminate his miserable attempts.
He explained that the complete elimination of terrorism requires confronting the conditions and environments that allow the growth of these groups, and that task goes beyond the military factor to a culture of dialogue, tolerance, economic and human development.
He pointed out that the Iraqi people resorted to the democratic path to determine their options, and that this path is developing through experiences, and some failures are being addressed in it; "There is no return to the past, no return to non-democratic paths, nor to tense relations and futile wars with neighbors and friends," noting that the language of good intentions, building trust and opening the doors of cooperation and partnership is a fundamental pillar of security and peace in the region and international peace.
