The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called for a million electoral revolution for lovers of reform and the homeland to remove the corrupt.
Al-Sadr said in a tweet to him, which was followed by Mawazine News, that "Iraqis must remedy the corruption that is prevalent in their country, whether at the popular level, such as the spread of sins, disobedience, disagreements, murder, suspicions, deviant beliefs, and others, or at the level of political corruption, which has become a habit for the majority of politicians. And others who cooperate with them, accept their actions, remain silent, or condone them.
He added: "Redress does not come through mobs, noise and riots, but rather through the million-electoral revolution for lovers of reform and lovers of the homeland to remove the corrupt." Ended 29/A87
