The General Company for Opposition and Commercial Services at the Ministry of Commerce announced, on Tuesday, the participation of its General Manager Sarmad Taha Saeed in the meeting held by the Solidarity Forum for Cooperation between Qatar and Iraq, which was held in Baghdad, with the participation of 18 Qatari companies seeking to enter the Iraqi markets and open the field of cooperation between the two brotherly countries. .

Saeed added, according to the statement, "and based on the Arab and Gulf brotherhood and the common interests between the two countries, we are meeting to strengthen economic and cultural relations and to support the industrial sector, and we value the role of sister Qatar in the region to achieve sustainable development goals, by promoting trade, investment, economic cooperation and encouraging dialogue between the Qatari and Iraqi private sectors in order to lay the foundations for investment." for the benefit of both countries.
Saeed stressed "the necessity of strengthening the volume of cooperation in the field of trade exchange, leading to the advancement of economic relations between the two countries."
On the other hand, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Iraq, Khalid bin Hamad Al-Sulaiti, expressed his thanks for the good hosting and the existing endeavors to develop cooperation and economic exchange between the two countries.
