The Jordan Chamber of Industry has informed the companies operating in the industrial sector that visas will soon be granted to Jordanian truck drivers to transport local goods to the Iraqi market.
It also announced in a circular distributed to the companies that Iraqi trucks will be allowed to enter Jordanian territory, in implementation of the government's decision to allow the transfer of goods between the two countries in a "round to round" manner.
The Chamber called on industrial companies to request Jordanian truck drivers that will transport their goods to Iraq, to review the Jordanian Truck Owners Association, as of tomorrow, Sunday, as it will follow up on obtaining entry visas to Iraqi lands.
The Minister of Transport, Engineer Wajih Azaiza, announced last Thursday that Jordanian trucks will enter Iraq, indicating that the granting of visas to their drivers will begin early this week. Ended 29/A43
