{Local: Al-Furat News} The Elections Security Committee revealed an "advantage" in the upcoming electoral process.
The spokesman for the committee, Brigadier General Ghaleb Attia, told {Euphrates News}, "The advantage this year is that the candidate gets to know the preliminary results of the elections through the digital tape that is delivered to the official of the political entity."
And he indicated that "the security simulation that took place yesterday in preparation for the polling day determined the security duties of each security element and the arrangement of the ranks."
Attia added, "The security forces will remain until the end of the process and transfer the boxes to the warehouses after the end of the voting period."
He stressed that "there are other simulations with the approach of polling day to increase the security work in a more organizational way."
