And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "it is hoped that the ministers will discuss during the meeting many issues that concern the region and the relations of the surrounding countries outside the council, in addition to discussing regional and international issues."
The statement added that "Hussein will shed light on the future dimensions of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership and the reflection of all of this on foreign relations and the political and security situation in Iraq, in addition to the early elections and their importance for Iraq and the region."
He continued, "The discussions between the minister and the Arab parties participating in the meeting will focus on economic and trade relations and the role of Gulf companies in investing in the various sectors in Iraq. The minister will also discuss the issue of linking with the Gulf electrical network and supplying Iraq with energy through it."
