Baghdad - Mawazine News
On Thursday, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; To participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "it is hoped that the ministers will discuss during the meeting many issues that concern the region and the relations of the surrounding countries outside the council, in addition to discussing regional and international issues."
The statement added that "Hussein will shed light on the future dimensions of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership and the reflection of all of this on foreign relations and the political and security situation in Iraq, in addition to the early elections and their importance for Iraq and the region."
He continued, "The discussions between the minister and the Arab parties participating in the meeting will focus on economic and trade relations and the role of Gulf companies in investing in the various sectors in Iraq. The minister will also discuss the issue of linking with the Gulf electrical network and supplying Iraq with energy through it."

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, on Thursday, the arrival of its Minister Fouad Hussein to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, the ministry said that "at the invitation of the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries."

He added, "It is hoped that the ministers will discuss during the meeting many issues that concern the region and the relations of the surrounding countries outside the council, in addition to discussing regional and international issues."

According to the statement, the Iraqi minister will shed light on the future dimensions of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership and its reflection on foreign relations and the political and security situation in Iraq, in addition to the early elections and their importance to Iraq and the region.

The statement indicated that the discussions between the minister and the Arab parties participating in the meeting will focus on economic and trade relations and the role of Gulf companies in investing in the various sectors in Iraq.

The Minister will meet, according to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with several ministers of the Gulf states in bilateral talks to discuss relations between Iraq and the countries concerned.
It is noteworthy that the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef Al-Hajraf, who participated in the Baghdad summit that took place at the end of last August, stressed in a statement from the Iraqi capital the strategic relationship between Iraq and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
