The first ship of Iraqi fuel arrives in Lebanon
{Economist: Al Furat News} Today, Friday, the first ship of Iraqi fuel arrived at the Deir Ammar thermal factory in Tripoli, northern Lebanon.
According to the information, the ship was loaded with about 31 thousand tons of Iraqi oil, and it arrived the day before yesterday in Lebanon, and a test was conducted to match the specifications of the fuel, and the result was positive.
It is noteworthy that according to the agreement and the contract signed by the former Lebanese Minister of Energy, Raymond Ghajar, with the Iraqi Minister of Finance, and with the escort of the Director General of the Lebanese Public Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, a tender will be received every month to replace Iraqi fuel with fuel needed by the Electricity Factories of Lebanon, provided that the second tender will be held in a week The first of October.
