    {Local: Al Furat News} The head of the National Oil Company, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, said, on Tuesday, that the company is conducting a comprehensive assessment of the existence of wealth and large reserves of free gas, which we seek to invest by the national effort in cooperation with sober international companies.
    This came during a meeting chaired by the company's president, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, to discuss an integrated development plan for the advancement of the exploration sector for gas fields. 
    Ismail indicated that "the company is conducting a comprehensive assessment of the reality of these hydrocarbon compounds, with our expectations of the existence of wealth and large storage, especially from free gas, which we seek to invest by the national effort in cooperation with sober international companies," stressing that "this plan will be presented to the Council of Ministers in order to Obtaining its approval and monitoring the budget for it. 

    The meeting was attended by the first vice president of the company, Hamed Younis, the general manager of the Department of Reservoirs and Oil Fields Development, the general manager of the Oil Exploration Company, and the general manager of the petroleum contracts and licensing department, in addition to the team charged with preparing and following up on this file.
