The Joint Operations Command said Iraq no longer needed foreign combat forces.
The spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji, confirmed that three units of the international coalition forces will leave the country at the end of September, indicating that the Americans will withdraw from the Ain al-Assad and Harir bases.
Al-Khafaji indicated that the Iraqi forces will need air support from the coalition, after the withdrawal of foreign forces from the country, indicating that ISIS cannot threaten security in Iraq.
