    The Security and Defense Committee of the Iraqi Parliament affirmed its categorical rejection of the Iranian attacks on the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
    Committee member Abdul-Khaleq al-Azzawi said that Tehran will expand its military operations in Kurdistan, claiming that it has targets within the borders of the Kurdistan region, and this is not true, calling on the federal government in Baghdad to take a clear stance towards Iranian attacks on the Kurdistan region.
    Several sites reported that these groups were bombed several times in the past two weeks.

    The Iraqi Army Chief of Staff expressed its surprise at the unjustified statements attributed to the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces regarding the presence of hostile movements from Iraqi territory towards Iran.
    The Army Staff confirmed that Iraq adheres to good neighborliness and brotherly relations with neighboring countries, stressing the need for everyone to adhere to the language of brotherhood and cooperation in joint relations.
    The Iraqi army's chief of staff also announced its strong rejection of the use of its territory for aggression against its neighbors.
