Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein participated, on Tuesday, in the consultative meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement to Al-Nour News, a copy of it, that “the latter participated in the consultative meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which was held at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of his participation in the work of the Assembly. General Assembly of the United Nations at its 76th session.
Al-Sahhaf added that “the meeting came to discuss the latest developments on the Arab arena, to strengthen the mechanisms of joint action and to coordinate Arab positions towards the most prominent Arab issues in the region, especially the Palestinian issue.”
